MYSA Board of Directors Meeting

Directors Present: Jim Limmex, Rick Cherney, Greg and Karen Purgett, and Steve McCann

Directors Absent: Paul Hitz and Jeff Molter

Guests: Peter Wilt, Milwaukee Wave Soccer

The meeting was call to order at 6:09 pm. A motion was made by Greg and seconded by Steve to approve the minutes. Motion carried.

Correspondence Reports

Treasurer: Rick made a motion and was seconded by Steve to approve the Treasurer Report. Motion carried. Karen will work on next years budget for the next meeting.

President: Jim will work on the tax exempt status.

Registration: Greg has 37 registered at this time.

League Rep.: Howard Hoffman is stepping down after this year as the Commissioner of the CWSL. Waupaca has made a request to get out of the CWSL.

Coaching: Nothing to report.

Uniforms and Equipment: Ordering online for full uniforms are working so far with the registrations pretty well. Will be able to order separate parts of the uniforms at a later date. Rick is looking into getting some new game balls and field equipment to update some older things.

Fields: Nothing to report.

Volunteers: Rick will work on volunteers for the Breakfast in October.

Scholarships: Greg is working on this.

New Business

Paul Wilt from the Milwaukee Wave Professional Indoor Soccer League came to talk about inviting our soccer teams to come and watch some games. Will find out how much interest there is, and if we will be able to fill a bus.


Next meeting is set for Monday, September 27, 2010 at 6:00pm at the Lincoln Library.

Adjournment: Rick made a motion and was seconded by Steve to adjourn. Motion passed.
